Jingcheng Lu 卢璟成

I'm an Assistant Professor at ShanghaiTech University, Institute of Mathematical Sciences.

Prior to joining ShanghaiTech, I was a Postdoctoral Associate in Mathematics at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, from 2023 to 2026. My mentor is Professor Jeff Calder. 

 

I received my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics at the University of Maryland, College Park, in May 2023. My advisor is Professor Eitan Tadmor. I also received my double M.Sc. in aerospace engineering, advised by Professor James D.Baeder.

My research involves the interplay between self-organized dynamics, data analysis, multiscale modeling, and high-resolution numerical methods for nonlinear PDEs.
